To provide assistance with larger capital expenditures related to one or more of the core focus areas of the foundation.



In January of each year, the Foundation Board of Directors will create, review and prioritize a list of capital improvements/projects to support/fund that are recommended by the administration or presented by staff members. The criteria used will be developed by the board.


To recommend a project for the program, the applicant must complete the application. Applications will be accepted beginning January 2, 2018. The selection process is included in the application. All applications must be received by the Upper Dauphin Area Trojan Educational Foundation by Tuesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:30 PM.



The current projects approved for inclusion in the Building For Tomorrow Program are as follows:

  • Football Practice Field Goal Post
  • Wall Mat Replacement (High School Gymnasium)
  • Indoor Concession Stand Improvements (As needed in conjunction with Booster Clubs)
  • High School Auditorium Upgrades (replace curtain, screen, lighting, etc.)
  • Add electric winches for the side baskets in the High School Gymnasium
  • Baseball Field Grandstand/Press Box Improvements
  • Softball Field Improvements (bleachers, press box, portable outfield fence, etc.)
  • New Strength and Conditioning Center
  • Middle School Auditorium Upgrades (seating, other improvements, etc.)
  • Replace Stadium Scoreboard
  • Media Center Renovation (High School and Middle School)
  • Synthetic Track and Walking Trail
